New Stove

We got a new stove! My dad, who is pretty awesome, had to hear me whining about cooking on that old thing we had, and got us this beauty for Christmas!



Already I love it! A Whirlpool with convection bake - it says it cuts cooking time by 25%, but I'd say it's more like 35% especially with cakes. It's also got a 5th "Warming burner" which I've used already and love! It's not too hot to boil or continue to thicken something like a gravy, but it keeps it warm. Awesomeness. Also, the ease of cleaning the flat top compared to our old coils - night and day! The burner temperature is also much more consistent, and I made some almost perfect eggs the other day without quickly overcooking the last batch. Yum.
